John Harpring

John has served PEC+ as Business Development Manager since 2015 and Principal since 2019. With a BS and MS degree in Civil Engineering, John has demonstrated a passion for value engineering and a drive to build a versatile and talented organization that is singularly focused on client satisfaction.

As President of Business Development and Strategic Operations, John’s responsibilities include client engagement, opportunity identification, qualification and capture, pipeline management, and business strategy. He has been pivotal in advancing the firm's “speed of execution” and market segment growth.

Before joining PEC+, he was Vice President/Principal Engineer for ECS Southeast, responsible for business strategy, financial management, training, business development, and quality of service. There, he managed numerous construction testing and geotechnical engineering projects, including troubleshooting problems with soils, deep foundations, and pavement engineering.

John resides in Roswell with his loving wife, who are devoted parents to their two children. He is an active community member and enjoys all sports and showing clients the best that Atlanta has to offer.
