Surveying a Legacy: Jonathan Howard

Jonathan’s formal career began in 1998 after graduating from the University of Florida with a BS in Geomatics/ Surveying and Mapping. After completing two summer internships he began his first full time job at Planners and Engineers Collaborative there investing the entirety of his career.

After becoming a shareholder in 2005, Jonathan helped lead the company from 30 to over 100 employees in a 10 year period. He also pioneered the integration of LIDAR technology into the surveying services offered by PEC+.

Jonathan went on to become one of the best title surveyors in GA and formally became Vice President of Surveying in 2018 where he lead and served till March of 2025. His accomplishments continue to benefit both PEC+ and the clients he served so well.

Outside of work Jonathan was an avid sports fan supporting his Alma Mater, the Florida Gators, as well as the Atlanta Braves. He loved his dogs, Lucy and Stanley, affectionately called “Stan the Man,” and also made time to compete with his colleagues on the golf course.

Jonathan is dearly missed by all his colleagues and will be well remembered by co-workers and clients alike.
